Set a wallpaper

Open ASCII Paper and click a wallpaper. On Android, tap Set wallpaper once to make ASCII Paper your live wallpaper. On a computer it goes behind your desktop icons right away.

Change how it looks

Click Customize and pick a style tile. More options holds colors, effects and shapes. The Speed slider makes any wallpaper calmer or livelier.

Use your own picture, GIF, video or text

Under Make your own, choose a file, paste a link or type some text. Your files stay on your device.

Community

Add looks other people made with one click. Submit your own from Customize; it appears after a quick review. Read the community rules and the privacy policy.

Battery and performance

Wallpapers pause when they are out of sight. In Settings, lower the frame rate or quality to save more.
